Leon Craig has written freelance journalism for Vice, the Toast, the TLS, the Literary Review and the Bookseller, among others. Leon is particularly interested in reviewing short story collections and fiction by other queer women.
She was part of the Brainchild Festival 2017 creative team and presented Short Story Hour at the festival. The idea for Thousand: An Anthology of Very Short Fiction grew out of Leon’s work with the Brainchild team. The launch took place at Platform Southwark on Thursday 1 March 2018 and the anthology is available to purchase from the Brainchild Festival online shop.
Leon was born in North West London in 1992 and still lives there. She graduated from University College London with a First in English and went on to achieve a Distinction on the Oxford University English (550-1550) MSt. Her thesis was on severed body parts and abjection in Old Norse literature.
